Club on course for silverware with county cup
ILMINSTER men are through to the Somerset County Triples final after bowling their way to success at Bristol.
Bill Anderson, Bev Brister and Matt Hamilton beat F Hogg's line-up to book a shot at the trophy against Andy Rendell of Watchet.
Ilminster's men's fours are preparing for the National Finals in Nottingham on March 31 after a successful run in the competition.
They booked their place at the showcase final last month by beating neighbours Donyatt in the area final by just one shot.

In the Milford and Dormor Mixed Triples League, Petherton B (Anderson) were unable to make the most of table-topping Ilminster A's shock defeat to Barry Sims' Ilminster H, losing 8-6 to Brister's Ilminster K.
Harlequins pulled away from 5-5 after eight ends to beat Odcombe 14-6, Magpies also level with Hurricanes at the same stage before triumphing 11-7. Canaries cantered to a 26-12 defeat of East Coker, whilst Westway lost 16-5 to Greyhounds.
Chard B ended their East Devon League campaign in style, beating Seaton Cliff C by 83 shots to 39.
