Closed Brewhouse Theatre wins gong as top employer
Just days after its closure caused uproar in Taunton, the Brewhouse Theatre has won an employer of the year award for its work with apprentices Jamie Ransom and Sam Jones.
Former technical director Amy Spencer said: “I’m really happy and proud of them but, at the same time, I’m gutted.” Dozens of acts are still searching for alternative venues for their shows. Venues around the area are competing to book the artists with cancelled shows.
