Clevedon Town beaten by leaders Winchester City
Clevedon Town failed to build on Joe Flurry’s first-half opener as table-toppers Winchester City won 4-1 in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League.
Flurry struck after 24 minutes, converting Adam Mahdi’s cross with a first-time effort to give his side the lead.
The home side were ahead for just two minutes, however, as Michael Charles equalised from the penalty spot.
Winchester goalkeeper Rory Anderson then saved Mahdi’s spot-kick for the hosts.
