Culling thousands of badgers is not for the good of a healthy badger population .

The more recent development of going back over decades to bring people to book for misdemeanour's they thought were long forgotten, is the one thing that should now bring action. . They all may once have been able to plead ignorance of the subject. . But they can no longer.”

My last comment was purely to put into perspective the futility of grown people putting so much emphasis on an animal, when so much more in the way of cruelty is happening around the World.

Children are still dying from TB in the Third World because of mutant TB which is resistant to known antibiotics. Yes, but thats down to entirely different parameters such as overcrowding and poverty. Poverty that keeps them below the bread line and vulnerable to disease, poverty that makes it difficult to afford to complete a course of antibiotics creating resistant strains and when they visit or settle here, they bring the infection with them.

Badgers have been accused of many things, but how many badgers have you seen with suitcases at Heathrow?”

Badgers in this country are still carrying bTB, although I should think in this frosty weather they may well be below ground.
