Midsomer Voices Choir will be performing at Holcombe Village Hall on Friday, October 21, at 7.30pm.

It was feared that the fundraising concert would have to be cancelled because organisers could not find anyone to sing.

However, after reading about the choir in the Somerset Guardian, associate priest at St Andrew's Church in Holcombe, the Rev Clarissa Cridland, rang the choir leader Jenny Peplow, who lives in Coleford, and booked them.

Rev Cridland said: "We are delighted to announce that Midsomer Voices will be singing and also encouraging the audience to sing at our concert."
