Chimney fire warning after four Somerset blazes within two hours
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service have urged people to take extra care after a spate of chimney fires.
Crews dealt with five chimney fires in less two hours on Tuesday evening - four of them were in Somerset.

Firefighters were called to Coultings, Fiddington, at 6.10pm, and that was followed by another emergency call to Lower Sweethay Farm, Trull, at 6.36pm.
Another chimney fire was attended to at The Mead, Ilchester, at 6.46pm, followed soon after by another incident at Somerset Road, Frome, at 7.48pm.

Fire investigation officer Mike Burroughs said: “With the nights still being quite cold people have naturally been warming up their homes by lighting the traditional home fire, but without proper maintenance a chimney can become dangerous.
"To keep yourself and your family safe from fire you should take care to have your chimney swept regularly.”
