Chilcompton Celebrates! village day will be back with a bang on July 13
With all the wet weather we've experienced lately the residents of Chilcompton are looking forward to warmer weather, and with the arrival of Chilcompton Celebrates!
Chilcompton Celebrates! will be back with a bang on July 13, from 2pm to 7pm, at the Recreation Ground on Wells Road and promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
Celebrates! was first held in 2005 and, apart from missing two years, it has been held annually, attracting up to 6,000 visitors from around the area and raising significant funds for many village projects.
Organisers of the show are currently seeking any craft vendors or local trade stands that would like to run a stall at the popular village event, which hosts a great line up of musicians and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Christine Foster, one of the organisers, said: "Celebrates! is not only known for its music and other attractions, but also for the vast array of stalls.
"Whether you sell hand-crafted jewellery, greeting cards or candy; plants, pottery or paintings, we want to hear from you.
"With so many people attending the event from around a 25-mile radius, it really is a great opportunity to sell your goods or promote your organisation.
"So pop the date in your diary – not only will you enjoy a fun-filled afternoon, but you'll also be contributing to many worthy causes, which is what makes this area a great place to live."
Admission is £2 for adults and £1 children.
Due to local by-laws, no dogs are allowed on site.
