Take on the Cheddar Gorge challenge
Cheddar Gorge Challenge is back for its third year.
The National Trust play host to the inaugural Cheddar Gorge Challenge with the main race site on Strawberry Fields.
A spokesman for the Cheddar Gorge Challenge said: "Cheddar Gorge is steep in places, and ridiculously steep everywhere else.
"The Cheddar Gorge Challenge series takes in breath taking views and lung aching ascents, the terrain is varied and exciting, 500m long climbs and descents at 10 per cent or more should be expected.

Guests can enjoy the site with a picnic and enjoy the fantastic views of the gorge within a great amphitheatre style atmosphere, as the runners come flying down the hill to the finish.
The spokesman added: "The races are held in partnership with the National Trust and we feel very fortunate to have the Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue Team on hand supporting the event.
"We are also very grateful for the support of the Somerset Wildlife Trust and Mendip Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for permitting the events to run through land the manage.
"This will be the 3rd year of the and we have been really pleased with how it is growing and how it is gaining a reputation for being among the toughest, and most beautiful races in the country with people traveling great distances to take part.
All runners of the 300m, 5km, 10km, half marathon and marathon will receive a medal and goody bag upon completing the event.
