Cheddar Chocolate Festival cancelled at Kings of Wessex Academy
Tomorrow's Chocolate Festival in Cheddar has been cancelled due to building work.
The one-day event was supposed to fill the gym at Kings of Wessex Academy with 15 chocolatiers all showing off their wares in time for Easter.

The event, which had its first outing last year, is a big draw to chocolate lovers far and wide, pulling in punters from Bristol.
Organiser Janet Clark of Cheddar Vale Lions Club was disappointed at the last-minute cancellation of the venue.

She said: "We have tried the sports centre and theatre and nowhere else is available. If I had been given perhaps a weeks' notice then I could have done something, but not in half-a-day."
Work is being done to replace windows with double-glazed windows at the school. The Chocolate Festival was originally booked for the school hall but changed to the gym two weeks ago.
A spokesperson for The Kings of Wessex Academy said:
“Regrettably, the Lions’ Chocolate Festival was cancelled due to delays in the building work at The Kings of Wessex Academy.”
However, Mrs Clark said a problem has arisen with a corridor that connected to the gym.
