Charges are dropped
A Street man has had assault and harassment charges against him dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
Richard John Mullett, 32 of Church Road, Street had been charged with assaulting Alison Fidler on October 3, 2011 and leaving offensive answerphone messages on her telephone.
The CPS dropped the case at South Somerset and Mendip Magistrates. Mr Mullet's defence costs will be paid from central funds.
