Fire at Chard block of flats
A block of flats in Chard suffered smoke damage when a fire broke out in one of the kitchens on Wednesday, January 9.
Firefighters arrived at Old Town Flats, Old Town just after 6pm.

A spokesman from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "We received a call from the occupier of a property to say their kitchen was on fire.
"On arrival crews found a small fire in the kitchen area. It was extinguished and the property was ventilated. The cause of the fire was accidental."
