Catherine Wells-Burr death: Boyfriend in court accused of conspiracy to murder
A man has appeared in court charged with conspiracy to murder Chard woman Catherine Wells-Burr.
Miss Wells-Burr's boyfriend Rafal Piotr Nowak, 31, of Willow Way, Chard, appeared before Bristol Magistrates' Court this morning.

Nowak, who through an interpreter spoke only to confirm his name, age and address during the hearing, has been remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday, October 9.
Jeffrey Bannister, defending, said: “As a tragic consequence of this incident, my client is not able to go back to the address he shared with this young lady.

“As a result, he cannot put forward an address and will not be applying for bail.”
Anna Julia Lagwinowicz, 32, faced the same charge at the same court yesterday morning.
Lagwinowicz, of South Street, Taunton, was also remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on October 9.
Nowak and Lagwinowicz are each charged with conspiring together with other persons to murder Miss Wells-Burr between May 1, 2012 and September 13, 2012.
