Casualty released from vehicle after it crashes in Yeovil

Fire crews had to cut a person free from a vehicle after it crashed in Yeovil.

The accident happened at Cavalier Way at around 3.20pm yesterday.

Three appliances were sent to the scene where crews found one vehicle had been involved in an accident, with one person still inside.

Crews used cutting gear to remove the roof  to release the casualty who was was taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
