Casualty cut free from vehicle after crash on A303 near Ilminster
A person was cut free from the wreckage of a crash on the A303 near Ilminster this morning.
Emergency services were called to a stretch of the road between Southfields Roundabout and South Petherton shortly before 9am.

Rescue teams used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle before freeing the casualty on a spinal board.
Fire crews from Ilminster, Crewkerne and Yeovil were joined at the scene by police and ambulance staff.
