Casualties airlifted to hospital after A39 crash near Wells
Two people were trapped following a collision between two cars on the A39, near Wells, on Wednesday lunchtime.
The incident took place at 12.25pm near the junction of the A39 and the B3135, near Green Ore. The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.

After being freed by the fire service the casualties were flown to hospital by air ambulance.
