Car crashes through entrance to Angel Place Shopping Centre in Bridgwater
A car has crashed through the entrance of Angel Place Shopping Centre in Bridgwater this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the shopping centre in Angel Crescent at around 1pm following reports that a vehicle had reversed into the building.

Two fire crews from the town joined ambulance staff and police at the scene.
Police said a black Toyota Yaris, driven by an elderly woman, has reversed through the main doors and into a shop window.

Firefighters helped to free the woman from the car. She was then treated by ambulance staff for neck pain, and a pedestrian also suffered minor injuries.
A stretch of the high street has been closed while recovery work takes place.
