CCTV to be installed in bid to stop Merriott Recreation Ground damage
Merriott Parish Council plans to install CCTV at the village recreation ground in an effort to prevent damage.
Parish clerk, Marion Andrews said: "The recreation ground is an important amenity for the village.

"Unfortunately more damage has been done recently by people riding bikes in the goal area of the football pitch. Please stick to the cycle track."
The recreation ground has suffered from vandalism for several years including one instance where broken glass was spread across the area.
