CBBC Deadly 60 TV presenter, Steve Backshall, will visit Longleat Safari and Adventure Park at the end of March to present a series of live shows and officially open its newest attraction, Deadly Adventure.
Mr Backshall has narrated the guide which will accompany visitors on the Deadly Safari and the Easter event will include a programme of live shows, where he will introduce some of Longleat's deadliest residents.
He will also be joined by several birds of prey that have being honing their skills on the Longleat estate as part of the Hunters of the Sky displays.
Mr Backshall said: "Inspiring children to get out there, explore, see, do and find out something new is what Deadly is all about.
"I hope families will have fun taking part in the first Deadly Adventure at Longleat and be inspired to learn more about the amazing creatures they encounter here."
The event, which is being held on Sunday, March 31 and Monday April 1, celebrates a new partnership between BBC Worldwide and Longleat which will see areas of the park transformed in the style of the BBC's hugely successful Deadly branded programmes which include Deadly 60, Deadly Top 10s, Deadly 360, Deadly Art and most recently Deadly Mission Madagascar as seen on CBBC.
Audience spaces for these shows will be limited, more information is available on the Longleat website www.longleat.co.uk/deadly
