Buy a poppy with coffee
A coffee morning is taking place on Saturday, November 3, in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
It will be held between 10.30am and noon, with a bring and buy sale and raffle, at Bishop Sutton Methodist Hall. Entry costs £1.
Poppy Appeal organiser Heather Poole said: "The Poppy Appeal is a key annual event in the nation's calendar and more than 45 million poppies will be bought.
"The poppy still stands for remembrance and the Legion still stands up for the welfare of serving and ex-servicemen and women of all generations and all conflicts."
