Burns night supper
Glastonbury and Street Lions Club is hosting a Burns Supper on Saturday, with traditional Scottish food, music and drink.
Haggis, neeps and tatties will be on the menu, as well as steak and mushroom pie for those who would prefer it. The haggis will be piped in and addressed and, as well as a piper, there will be a fiddle player. Scottish songs and poetry, plenty of tartan and the traditional toast to the lassies are all promised.
The supper is being held in Ashcott Village Hall, at 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are £23 per person, which includes pre-dinner drinks and a wee dram or two. For more details call David Atkins on 0845 8336714.
