The stars were out again last night as the latest joyful, ear-splitting carnival parade took to the streets of Somerset.
Colour and light illuminated the night as Burnham and Highbridge welcomed the madcap spectacle and thousands lined the route.
Youth carried a big responsibility in the shape of Hillview Junior Carnival Club, representing home town hopes with Hollywood Hotel 1939, its spooky take on film glamour.
The young people carried off the theme in style with deathly pale make-up, splendid costumes and a lively routine.
