Mill on the Brue to host charity curry lunch
The owner of an outdoor activity centre in Bruton has organised a charity event ahead of an ambitious Indian trek.
Tricia Rawlingson Plant, who has run Mill on the Brue for 30 years, will undertake a gruelling 72km trek across the Indian Himalayas, in April, in aid of St Margaret's Hospice.
To raise funds, she has organised a curry lunch at the Bruton centre.
Mrs Rawlingson Plant said: "Although I am paying for the trek myself, I want to raise as much money as possible for the hospice.

"My husband Tony died in 2009. He spent two weeks in St Margaret's Hospice, in Yeovil, and even given his state of health it was the best experience possible.
"As many people often say, the hospice gives people back their dignity. I am doing this trek in memory of Tony."
The curry lunch will be held on Sunday, March 3, from 12.30pm.
There will also be an auction and a chance for visitors to go on the centre's famous zipwire.
Bookings for the lunch must be received by today. Contact 01749 812307 for more information.
