Brothers Craig and Alex Priddice are making a rare appearance as a double act on Saturday at The Abbey Moor Stadium in Glastonbury.

The gig intends to launch the football stadium as a live music venue and add it to the roster already on offer.

Both brothers are serious music lovers, song-writers and experienced performers.

Expect to hear favourite tunes from some of their influences such as acts like The Beatles and David Bowie and more recent faces such as Jake Bugg and Coldplay.

These will sit amongst Alex and Craig's own compositions which do justice to such influences and are executed with a great amount of heart and soul.

The Abbeymoor gig marks the Priddice's first performance together since 2010, when they played in Taunton and their first Glastonbury gig since August 2008 at The Crown.

Previous nights have been a huge success, full to the rafters.

Craig Priddice is a well established act on the local scene having played most of the local venues.

Career highlights include the Ride The Boundary open air event at The Victoria back in September; enjoyed by hundreds of people.

He has also played prestigious venues in Bristol and Bath and has headlined at The Rock Garden in Covent Garden, London.

Alex Priddice toured across London for four years, playing his own compositions.

This culminated in him playing the legendary Halfmoon Inn in Putney – previous host to the likes of The Who, U2 and Kasabian.

His latest outing was back in June, where he did a three-song set at Hawthorns as part of The Glastonbury Fringe.

It is special gig for Alex as he has been a Glastonbury Town Football player since he was 17.

The gig takes place at Abbeymoor Stadium on Saturday and starts from 7.30pm.
