Bridgwater Town send Benjani Ben Salem for loan spell at Chard Town
Bridgwater Town striker Benjani Ben Salem has been loaned out to Toolstation League first division club Chard Town.
Salem only recently signed for the Evo-Stik League Southern club from Gillingham Town.
Bridgwater’s joint manager Kevin Milsom said: “Ben is not playing in our first team at the moment and needs to get some games under his belt. Hopefully he can do this with Chard.”
However, a two-match suspension means he cannot play for Chard until tomorrow week.

Meanwhile, it was not a happy return to Bridgwater for former boss Rob Dray in the first round of the Red Insure Cup this week.
Dray is now assistant manager of Bideford, who lost 5-4 on penalties to Bridgwater at Fairfax Park following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
Milsom, however, was naturally delighted with his team’s display.
He said: “It was an excellent performance especially as we had to change things around a bit because Chris McGrath pulled out of the game during the warm-up.”
