Bridgwater Town hit back to hammer Paulton Rovers
Bridgwater Town came from behind to thrash Paulton Rovers 4-1 in their Somerset derby in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League.
Dave Stone fired the hosts into a first-minute lead, but Town equalised ten minutes before half-time when Steve Fitzpatrick crossed from the left and Dave Pearse was on hand to beat Kyle Phillips.
Bridgwater took the lead for the first time ten minutes into the second half when Tim Legg headed in Jon Vance’s right-wing cross.
Seven minutes later, the visitors extended their lead thanks to a fine long-range strike from Joe McLennan.
