Bridgwater Town beat Bideford on penalties in Red Insure Cup
Bridgwater Town knocked Bideford out of the Evo-Stik Southern League Red Insure Cup on penalties last night.
The first round tie at Fairfax Park had ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.
The North Devon side took the lead in the sixth minute when Matt Andrew headed past Bridgwater's young goalkeeper Jake Viney.
Kye Thomas snapped up an equaliser in the 62nd minute, shooting past ex-Bridgwater goalkeeper Sam Hutchings who was unlucky not to save it.
