Bond girl Caroline Munro is heading to Weston-super- Mare for a cuppa to raise money for charity.

The actress will be arriving in the resort on September 24 to take part in Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee morning at Loves cafe.

Mrs Munro, who appeared in the James Bond classic The Spy Who Loved Me, will be at Loves from 9am to noon.

Mrs Munro said: "My mother sadly lost her fight with cancer and Macmillan was with us every step of the way.

"To be in a position where I can give a bit back, albeit in some small way, is very gratifying and I have seen first hand how important Macmillan are to people."

Macmillan's fundraising manager, Ian Dore, said: "To glean the support of such a highly regarded actress and have her attend their coffee morning is another feather in their cap. Loves is a great location and this is a great 'showbiz' addition to the coffee morning event."
