Blood Brothers prepares to land in Bristol
INTERNATIONAL smash hit musical Blood Brothers continues to tour all around the UK and will be at the Bristol Hippodrome this February.
Blood Brothers, starring Maureen Noleen, tells the moving story of twin boys who are separated at birth, only to be reunited by a twist of fate and a mother's haunting secret.
When young mother Mrs Johnstone is deserted by her husband, it is not long before her world crashes down around her.
In a moment of weakness and desperation, the expectant mother of twins enters a secret pact with her employer.
The twins' different background takes them to opposite ends of the spectrum, one becoming an Oxford graduate councillor and the other unemployed and in prison.
When the twins fall in love with the same girl, a tear in their friendship leads to a show-shattering and heart-wrenching climax.
The show features A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe, Secrets, and the emotionally charged hit, Tell Me It's Not True.
Blood Brothers is at the Bristol Hippodrome from February 20 until March 3.
Tickets are from £14.50 to £38.50 and concessions are available at certain performances.
