Billie Bear birthdays, new members and diary for week beginning January 14
Hello everyone. Snowballs, snowmen, sledging and no school – that's what the snow meant for me. I hope you have enjoyed the snowy weather as much as I have.
I don't have a proper sledge but that didn't matter a bit. Instead I used a tin tea tray which took me flying down the hill. By the end of the day it was battered and bent, but it had given me a lot of fun. I don't think we'll be able to carry tea on it again.
The snow wasn't all fun, though. I had to work hard with mum and dad to clear our drive and make a path to the front door. I also made sure the birds had something to eat and drink. With the ground so frozen and covered in a white blanket they find it difficult to get the food they need.
Why not send me photographs or drawings of the fun you had in the snow? I love to see your pictures and will share them with everyone else here and on my web page.
Now, I have a new member to introduce to you all this week. Shay Frew, of Wells, is joining our club. Shay will be a year old in February and likes playing with big sister Sommer and cousins, playing with racing cars, and playing with a flashing bouncy ball.
