Hello everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, full of surprises.

Father Christmas brought me just about everything on my list this year, so I must have been a good little bear.

Tonight we're going to a party at a friends house to celebrate New Year's Eve. They have children who go to my school and the grown-ups have decided that we are all too young to stay up until midnight so I am allowed to sleep-over instead. I'm very excited about that and might take my alarm clock so that we wake up in time to hear the clock striking 12. We might even have a midnight feast.

Whatever you do, have a great time and I will be back in 2010.

Today, Ellis Taylor, of Shepton Mallet, is six, Toby Langdon, of Wells, is nine and Bronwyn Hill, of Wells, is 11.

Tomorrow, Hannah Mewse, of Street, will be eight and Tyler Harding, of Street, will be five.

On Saturday, Tyler Sturgess, of Wells, will be 10, Ethan Difford, of Street, will be five and Liam Newman-Sharkey, of Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, will be 11.

On Sunday, Ella Simpson, of Axbridge, will be celebrating her fourth birthday, Korey Mitchell, of Street, will be five, Antonia Sullivan, of Wells, will be seven, Harry Anderson, of Street, will be eight, Tegan Richards, of Shepton Mallet, will be 11 and Rosie Morgan, of Glastonbury, will be nine.

Monday is the third birthday of Elsie Craigie, of Keinton Mandeville, James Frost, of Polsham, will be nine and Abigail Russell, of Street, will be 11.

On Tuesday, Hannah Walker, of Shepton Mallet, will be celebrating her ninth birthday, Taylor-James Nicol-Hinde, of Street, will be eight, Paige Dyer, of Bruton, will be 10 and Morgan Purchase, of Shepton Mallet, will be 11.

Wednesday is the seventh birthday of Susan Hillyer, of Walton.
