A convoy of 100 motorcyclists set out from Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford last Sunday to take part in a ride in memory of motorcycle historian Jeff Clew. Author of more than 40 books, Jeff Clew was a director of Haynes Publishing, consultant for Bonhams auctioneers and a respected authority on the Velocette motorcycle company. The run was organised by the Dorset section of the Vintage Motorcycle Club. A rider on the start line with a vintage Singer.
