The Bath and North East Somerset Council supported Somer Valley Wheels is holding a 'Turkey Burn-Off' bike ride to help people get active after Christmas.

The bike ride will take place on a car free route along the Colliers Way leaving from the Tea and Trade Tearooms, Radstock at 10:30am on 29 December. The ride is open to all and costs £1.50 per person or £3 if you want to hire a bike.

Chris Reville, Sports Development Officer for Bath and North East Somerset Council said: "Bath and North East Somerset Council wants to help everyone to get active and cycling is a great way to do this.

"What better antidote to the excesses of Christmas consumption than a refreshing and stimulating cycle ride along the Colliers Way. It's also a great way to stretch the legs and start that post Christmas fitness regime in the outdoors amidst the attractive scenery of the Radstock to Greater Elm section of the Colliers Way."

Please book and pay at Tea & Trade Tearooms in advance or contact Eugene Kertzman on 07972 014448 or by email eugene_kertzman@bathnes.gov.uk.
