Beverley promises an intimate, nostalgic show
In 1991 she sang the line "Promise me you'll wait for me", earning herself a top ten UK hit and a place in the hearts of legions of fans. Beverley Craven will be delighting some of her loyal supporters when she performs at Budleigh Salterton in East Devon.
Over the past two decades Beverley has juggled music and motherhood, taking extensive periods away from the stage to bring up her three daughters, but also producing a series of acclaimed albums, selling more than four million records worldwide.
She is currently back at her keyboard and playing intimate venues, with an acoustic line-up pared back to just vocals, piano and saxophone.
"They're far better suited to the confessional style of my new songs," she says. "It's like I've invited the audience back to my place."
