Bestselling author makes a date at Midsomer Norton Library
A world-renowned author will share tales of her fascinating life and career at a free event staged by Bath & North East Somerset Council in Midsomer Norton Library next month.
Lesley Pearse, writer of more than 20 books, will give a talk on Tuesday 6 November, from 7pm to 8pm, as part of the Council's "After Hours" programme of events designed to promote the wider use of libraries.
As well as being one of Britain's favourite writers, and selling more than 7 million copies of her books including "Stolen", "Belle" and, most recently "The Promise", she also founded the Lesley Pearse Women of Courage Award in 2006 to recognise real-life heroines after inventing so many fictional ones in her stories.
