A signed Beatles programme and ticket stub for a 1963 concert in Weston-super-Mare has sold for £2,900 at auction, the Sunday People reported yesterday.
The Beatles, then unknowns, spent six days in Weston-super-Mare in 1963 playing at the town's Odeon Cinema twice-nightly. But within weeks they became overnight an overnight sensation.
