Beaminster Tunnel repair work ready to begin after landslip tragedy
Repair work to Beaminster Tunnel in Dorset, where Rosemary Snell and Michael Rolfe, from Somerset, were killed in a landslip in July, will begin shortly.
Preliminary work will include fencing the area and clearing vegetation. In January a drainage system will be introduced and soil will be stabilised. Arches at each end of the tunnel will be strengthened.
