Bath City's away day woes continue at AFC Hornchurch
Bath City are looking anxiously over their shoulders at the Blue Square Bet South relegation zone after their poor run of away results continued with a 2-1 defeat at AFC Hornchurch.
The defeat – to opposition second from bottom of the table at the start of play – was City’s third on the road in the space of eight days and leaves them 16th in the table.
Charlie Griffin’s 16th goal of the season quickly cancelled-out Martin Tuohy’s 68th-minute opener for the hosts, but Lewis Smith’s winner secured Hornchurch’s first victory of 2013.
