At 12:30pm, the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Bryan Chalker, will be on hand to cut the ribbon officially re-opening the bar. Immediately afterwards, fans can come inside and have their picture taken with the Carling Cup for free and enjoy the new look of the bar and the completely new pumping system designed to deliver crisper, colder pints of their favourite beers and lagers.
At 3pm Bath City vs Grimsby Town kick-off inside the ground for their important Third Round Proper tie in the FA Carlsberg Trophy, but as soon as the match is over the festivities resume in Charlie's.
The first hour after the match will be Happy Hour, with Carling, Thatchers Gold and Worthington's Creamflow on sale for just £1.50 each. While fans are enjoying their discounted drinks there will be live entertainment, and the party will continue on into the night with a video-disco that will keep the place jumping until midnight.
Admission is free to all events at Charlie's this Saturday. The Carling Cup will be on site from 12:30pm until 3pm, and the video-disco is expected to commence at 7:30pm.
