Visitors to Barrington Court in South Somerset this week have a chance to get their hands dirty helping National Trust gardeners plant a new avenue of tulip trees.

The new avenue of 75 tulip trees is replacing an avenue of horse chestnuts which fell victim to a fungal disease. The official opening of the avenue will take place in May.
