Barbecue serves up funds for trike
A sum of £350 has been raised to help fund a powered trike for a disabled child, thanks to a barbecue held at Inner Wheel member Jacky Lithgo and her husband Ray's home at Camerton.
Members of the Inner Wheel Club of Chelwood Bridge and their friends and husbands, some of them from the Rotary Club, took part.
The club was raising money for the Inner Wheel's Wheels Project, which in its district is helping the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering.
The charity's Wizzybugs cost in the region of £4,500 each and are for children from the age of 18 months to five.
