Away woes continue for Taunton Town at Abingdon United
Taunton Town are still without an away point in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League after losing 3-0 at Abingdon United on Saturday.
Despite stepping up their displays recently, Taunton finished a well-beaten side, conceding all three goals during the first half.
Taunton boss Leigh Robinson said: “We started well in the first ten minutes, but then made a horrendous individual error for the first goal. Then there was another horrendous error for the second. You simply cannot win matches if you gift goals like that.”
Toby Nowell opened the scoring in the eighth minute and Connor Sidley-Adams, back in goal because of an injury to on-loan Blackburn goalkeeper Matthew Urwin, was beaten again in the 13th minute when Chris Baker netted with a far post header.

On the stroke of half-time, Sam Tucker headed in a cross by Nowell to make it three.
Taunton improved after the interval, but could not convert chances into goals.
