Fire on Avalon Estate in Glastonbury
Fire fighters are dealing with a blaze at a house in Glastonbury.
Two appliances from Street and Glastonbury were sent to the Avalon Estate at 5.30pm but further assistance was needed and three pumps were sent from Wells.

Upon arrival crews confirmed the fire to be well alight and requested a further appliance from Wells with an Incident Support Unit from Ilminster.
Fire crews confirmed this to be a fire heavily involved on the first floor, and crews got to work using hoses and wore breathing apparatus to deal with the effects of the smoke.
