Athlete to run charity band night
A keen runner who has been inspired by an upbeat approach to beating cancer is holding a band night in order to make another £1,000 for her chosen charity.
Jane Cooley is organising a charity evening in aid of the Coppafeel! breast cancer charity. The evening is called "See a Band, Raise a Grand" night, and it is being held on February 23 at The Barton Inn, Barton St David.

Local band The Outsiders will be playing and have also agreed auction themselves out to the highest bidder on the night, to play at the event of the winning bidders choosing during 2013.
"I'm doing this is because almost everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer. It's the fact that these battles can be won that inspire hope and help conquer the fear in so many people.

The charity has a pro-active and positive approach to promoting and educating younger women about breast cancer.
