Arrival of lambs means spring is just around the corner
Bridgwater College's Lambing Sunday proved a hit with families eager to see the newborn creatures.
More than 1,400 people came to see the lambs, piglets and calves at Rodway Farm for the college’s third annual Lambing Sunday.

Young and old could hold and feed the newborns, tour the farm facilities and take part in animal trails. A tractor trailer ride proved popular.
“It’s great to see so many people visiting the farm for what has proved to be another successful Lambing Sunday”, said Jeremy Kerswell, head of land-based studies at the college.
“It is a very busy time of the year at the farm for staff and students, with 250 ewes having either already given birth or about to over the coming weeks.
“Visitors were lucky enough to see five lambs born, four within only half-an-hour of each other.”
Young visitor Charlotte Thompson said: “I’ve had lots of fun cuddling the lambs. Given the chance I would love to take one home.”
