Man killed in road tragedy named
The Frome man killed in a car crash on the outskirts of the town has been named.
Shaun Wheatley died in an accident on Frome Road at Nunney at 2.50pm on Wednesday, October 14.
-

A red Vauxhall Vectra being driven out of Frome in the direction of Nunney was travelling around a left-hand bend when the vehicle left the road and ended up on its roof.
26-year-old Mr Wheatley, believed to be a rear seat passenger, was declared dead at the scene later that afternoon.
Another man was taken to Frenchay Hospital. He was described yesterday as being in a serious condition.
Three other people received minor injuries in the collision.
The inquest into Mr Wheatley's death was opened and adjourned yesterday.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses. They believe the car involved in the collision may have been parked at the Wheatsheaf public house in Frome prior to the incident and would like to hear from anyone who may have stopped at the pub or had driven along Frome Road before the collision occurred.
Anyone able to help is asked to contact the police's collision investigation unit on 0845 4567000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

“Brother, this is a shock to the system. I have years of memories... all of the missions and times, you're always going to be remembered young... as a character that won't be replaced. Send my love to you... and brother, seriously and really do R.I.P.
For some moments in life, there are no words.

And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again."”
