Appeal after Christmas Eve attack on man in Wells pub
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault at The Kings Head pub on the High Street in Wells.
At around 11pm on December 24, a man was with a group of friends at the pub, as he went to leave, two men approached him and one struck him to the face in an unprovoked assault.

The victim was knocked to the floor and suffered injuries to his face. Officers investigating this incident would now like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who may be able to identify two men.
The first is described as white, around 6ft tall and aged between 18 and 19 years old. He was of a stocky build, had fair hair and was wearing a pale blue shirt with a collar that was undone.

The second man is described as white, about 5ft 6inches tall, approximately 18-19 years old, of a chubby build, and he had mousey brown hair. He was wearing a checked shirt.
