Antiques stolen in Barton St David near Somerton

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two antique stone balls were stolen in Barton St David, near Somerton.

The two large items were taken from the rear of a garden in the Mill Road Area.

They are believed to have been removed between February 2 and 27.

A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: "These ornaments are extremely heavy and would have taken some time and effort to remove requiring a vehicle.
