The hunt for an aggressive shopper who threatened staff at a store in Frome has gone over the border into Wiltshire after the wanted man's car was found in Melksham.

The shaven-headed man, described as having a tattoo on his neck and being of stocky build, became aggressive when he was challenged by staff at Halfords in Frome, who suspected him of shoplifting on Saturday.

But now police in Wiltshire have joined the hunt for the man, who escaped in an S-reg green Ford Mondeo. The car was discovered in Melksham.
