Abbey Croquet Club beat Bath to win South West title
Abbey Croquet Club completed a fantastic summer season by beating Bath to win the South West Association Intermediate Final on Saturday.
The Street-based club won all their matches in the group section, seeing off the challenge of Lym Valley, East Dorset, Kingston Maurward and Nailsea.
They then defeated Cornwall in the semi-finals to earn the chance to take on defending champions Bath at Sidmouth in Devon.
Despite being the smallest club in the South West, Abbey held their own.
