A38 closed at Redhill while man is rescued from car on its side
A man was rescued from his car after it crashed and ended up on its side on the A38 in North Somerset this morning.
A stretch of the road was closed through Redhill, near Wrington, for more than five hours following the incident at around 9am today.

Rescue crews from Blagdon, Chew Magna and Temple fire stations were called to the scene and used specialist equipment to stabilise the Lexus, before using air bags to lift it.
The man, aged in his 40s, was freed and treated for a back injury at the scene by an ambulance crew.

The air ambulance also attended but was not required.
The casualty, whose injuries are not thought to be serious, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The A38 was closed in both directions between the B3133 Langford Road junction and the Downside Road junction at Lulsgate Bottom.
Police diversions were in operation, sending drivers on the B3133 towards Congresbury, the A370 towards Brockley and then Brockley Combe Road.
The road reopened at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
